Sunsetting the Meower Minecraft server
I have decided to cease operation of the Minecraft server. This server has been in operation since Halloween of 2019, and has been running faithfully since. However, I only kept it as a remnant of my high school days, and I have decided to move on with life.
Why?
In short, it’s due to a lack of interest. I don’t blame folks for not showing much interest in the server, as there are better options out there. Another thing is that I just don’t have any interest to maintain it, both becoming a power consumption concern and a security concern.
When?
Effective immediately of this announcement. I will make a future announcement providing a world file download (with any personal data wiped).
